I have decided to enter the ever-so popular blogosphere aka blogspot.com. The reasons are many. First and foremost, I think it creates a nice piece of family history that I can save on flash drives and reflect on in the years to come. Second, and perhaps most importantly, I believe that it will be a good line of communication between our little family and the rest of our families who are scattered across the globe.
I once tried to email a family newsletter on a weekly basis, but got little interest in it. At least with a blog, you can come to the site if you want to and not be otherwise inundated with emails from me on a weekly basis that you may not want to read. I can also post pictures and videos and make it a bit more exciting than your usual black and white, normal font, boring-to-look-at email. And, if you want, you can post comments as well. I am excited! Now, let's just hope that I can find the time to post!
The purpose of this blog will be to basically update you on the happenings in our home and family. I *intend* (hmmm, intend definetely being the operative word) to update this blog at least 3 or 4 times per week...... but, once again, my intentions are not always reality. Anyhow, check back whenever you get a chance- I should have a real post posted (can you use those two words that close together in a sentence?) later this week.
